Hunter

The yield rises with the animal and with the level. A deer skin becomes one leather, a wolf skin two at level 2, a bear skin three at level 4. Leather Strips come three to a leather and are the most requested component on the whole server. At the top, the level 5 Hide Armor eats four leathers and three strips.

The hunter supplies two chains at once: the strips go to the forge and the leather goes to the tailor. It is the second least dependent trade on the list, because it produces the raw material it consumes, and the only one besides the cook that lives off what moves.

Two trades per character, five levels in each. Experience comes from gathering and from making, and the thresholds are 1,000, 6,000, 15,000 and 30,000 points.

Gathering takes from the world: an ore vein, a tree, a downed animal, a field. Making needs the right station nearby, the forge for metal, the cooking pot for food, and the components in your pack.

Recipes are gated by level, and most of them ask for material another trade produced. That is what keeps the server economy turning around people instead of shops.
