Requirements
What you need to play
The list is short and there is no fine print. If you have Skyrim on Windows, you have nearly everything.
Skyrim Special Edition or Anniversary Edition
It has to be legitimate and it has to be one of the two modern editions. The 2011 Legendary Edition will not do: the server runs on the 64-bit version, and nothing we install exists for the old one. Anniversary Edition works exactly as well as Special Edition.
Windows
The launcher and the mod set are built for Windows. There is no macOS or Linux version, and the game has to be installed on the same machine the launcher runs on.
Steam or GOG
The launcher looks for the Steam install and the GOG one, and takes either. If you own the game on both stores it lets you choose which to use. Pirated copies do not work.
A Discord account
Server login is done with your Discord account. It is also where the news comes out and where the launcher link is posted.
Disk space and a connection
The launcher downloads the server mod set once and keeps what it downloaded, so the first entry is the slow one and the rest only pick up what changed. Leave free space beyond what Skyrim already takes.
What you do not need
- You do not need to install a single mod by hand. The launcher downloads, verifies and orders everything, load order included.
- You do not need a microphone. Text chat always works; a microphone only adds the voice of whoever is near you in the game.
- You do not need to pay anything. The project is a non-profit made by fans.
- You do not need Portuguese to read this page, but the server is Brazilian and the story was written in Portuguese.
A clean install helps
If your Skyrim already has mods installed by another manager, the safest thing is to point the launcher at a clean install. Loose mods in the game folder conflict with the server set, and the resulting problem almost never shows up as a clear error: it shows up as a crash in the middle of a session.
